Terms & Conditions of Services

Removals & Storage
The Customer is responsible for the packing and packaging of all items being moved and Stored, unless otherwise stated in writing from us. You may need to consult the manufactures terms and conditions on moving certain items, any items not packed correctly and cause damage, (however caused) will be excluded from our Insurance policy, Discounted works may exclude Insurance cover, check if this applies to you. Items made from Chipboard are excluded from any claims as these items are not designed to be moved once erected.
In the interest of safety we will not remove our footwear, you should take appropriate measures to cover any flooring safely.
The Customer should check that the vehicle is empty of all items before it leaves the site.
We do not disconnect any item of Gas or Electric that are connected direct to the supply, example, Cooker.

Estimates
Where an Estimate has been given verbally or written is a guideline only and should not be treated as the actual cost being charged.

Household Rubbish
We do not dispose the following items as part of Rubbish, Asbestos, Batteries, Gas Bottles, Paint, Flammable liquids, Builders waste, Large amounts of glass or computer equipment, We charge per item for TV's, Monitors, Fridges and Freezers.

We will issue a Waste Transfer document and record details after we have removed any Rubbish, the Document is the Guarantee that the Rubbish collected will be disposed of under the UK Environment Agency Regulations.

Payment
We may require a Booking deposit to secure the works date which is not returnable if cancelled. Final payment less deposit if paid is due on completion of works or at the end of the business day that the works commenced whichever is sooner, payment is to be made in cash without any deductions whatsoever. Any other method of payment must be agreed prior to works date, cheques to be made payable to ( call to arrange )
Where a payment has not been made as described will be subject to a late payment fee, the amount charged will be 50% of the Service cost plus £25 per 7 days admin charge until cleared funds have been received, a further Invoice will be issued per 7 days to reflect such fees charged. If we do not received full payment after 90 days we will instruct a Debt collection agency to act on our behalf to recover revenue owed and associated costs.

Emergency Storage
Where we have to store items over night without any advance notice we will charged a minimum of £40.00, the amount will depend of the size of the load and the number of days and nights stored.
We will keep stored items for a maximum of 5 nights after which time we ask you for further instructions.

Delays
We cannot be held responsible for matters beyond our control, such as traffic, weather conditions or mechanical failure.

Cancellation
If a cancellation is received on the works date, a cancellation fee of 50% received the Service cost shall become due on the day.
